This is a simple and reliable solution for your concealed display. If you own a radar detector, it's wise not to hang it in the middle of the windshield, for everybody to see. The smart strategy is usually to have radar detector somewhere (somewhat) hidden, with display off, and use concealed/remote display that only YOU can see. Most leading brands readily sell remote displays. But where to put it?

We believe we found the best place for it in Porsche 911, 981, and 718. Below and right of the steering wheel column. It's literally impossible to see for anybody but driver seating in the driver's seat. Driver can easily see it through the steering wheel.

TIP: we recommend placing the radar detector itself somewhere inside the cabin. Not on the windshield. Cayman has a perfect place for it - the aluminum bar behind the driver! In 911 it can be attached to the roof liner near rear window. Few feet this way or that way make no difference for radio waves. While not displaying the expensive piece of equipment on the windshield reduces chances of theft.
