We have a solution. Our tablet bracket allows you to mount any device, right on top of PCM. PCM is still there and not modified in any way. It's just hidden under. All the PCM buttons and knobs still visible and usable, if used with 8" tablet.
For tablet mounting - this bracket requeres to be paired with some kind of tablet holder. Proclip offer holders for just about any model of a tablet, usually priced around $50 for non-powered models. Here's one for iPad mini: www.proclipusa.com/product/511793...
We do recommend to stay with 8" tablets. Bracket will easily hold 10" tablet, but 10" is just TOO BIG for the interior.
The bracket is already drilled for standrd Proclip screw pattern (and we will include screws). The pattern will also match all the popular lap timers holders. It can also be easily drilled for watever pattern you project/device need. And you can always just use 3M tape!

For lap timer installation like Catalyst - throw away all the extra parts from the Catalyst mount, and then attache the very mount to our bracket. The pattern will match:
Installation is the same principle as for Universal Phone Mount. You just insert the tabs into the seams on left and right of PCM. That's it. Not tools, and it's not going anywere. This video is for different product, but same exact princple: just push it in around PCM
