This is a cross between our universal phone mount and Monaco charging+magnetic mount. Best of both worlds, really. Simple, elegant, reliable, super strong hold.
Yes, it's crazy expensive for a magnetic mount. If we could make it cheaper and same strong and nice - we would... But we can't. It is hand-made if a full sense of the word, and it takes 48 hours to make one. Because there are many steps and epoxy resin to hold huge N52 magnets. Plus steel and aluminum CNC parts, no plastics were harmed during production. End result is as different from the generic magnetic phone as bespoke suit from a Walmart t-shirt.
1) It's super strong. Magnum usually means "twice", but its about 10 times stronger than generic magnetic holder (they all use same 4 tiny lower grade magnets). And the surface itself is gripping providing even more hold.
2) Because it has strong hold - it allows you to mount magnetic plate at the *bottom* of your phone, and so the wireless charging plate in the center is not obstructed. It will take any spirited driving just fine. The phone will never drop.
3) It provides secure mount in the cockpit. The mount itself will never fly away during hard cornering.
Yes, it works with iPhone 12 just the same.
Tip: To separate phone from our Magnum mount - best to pull top of the phone first. This will "break" the hold. If you just pull evenly the whole phone - it might be very difficult to disengage.

Let's see why our mount is much stronger than competitors. Most competitors use one or another variation of generic pad with 4 tiny lower grade magnets in their mounts. They are designed with only one goal - to be cheap to produce.
We use two huge N52 magnets, strongest grade available. They are significantly stronger and have to be set in epoxy to stay in place:
